Below is a list of the big things going on in our family this week…
#1 We signed escrow papers on Sunday
#2 We wired a ridiculous sum of money to the escrow company on Monday…and we are now officially poor:)
#3 Alan has been home studying all week for his final CPA exam!! And let me tell you, he is a way dedicated study-er. I don’t know how he does it. I mean, I was a Recreation Management major…guess how much time I had to spend studying. Best major ever!!
#4 Said CPA exam is tomorrow morning…please send prayers/good vibes his way!!
#5 Packing, packing, and more packing…3 year old twins + 5 months pregnant + a sciatic nerve that has hurt the entire 5 months = Oh my, such fun
#6 Alan’s dad had major big time back surgery today…we’re talking a 6 1/2 hour procedure. Poor man, I believe he’s just waking up now and will be in the hospital for about 3 or 4 days. Then, he’s on to a 6 month recovery period, including a month straight in bed. We’re hoping this solves the pain he has been experiencing for the last decade or more…I’m really not sure how long it’s been, but it’s been forever.
#7 Hopefully we get keys to our house tomorrow…it was supposed to happen today, but of course it got pushed back at least a day…I was a bit bummed ‘til it was pointed out that perhaps Heavenly Father had a hand in this…with this being Alan’s final day of studying before his test, he really didn’t need the distraction of officially getting our first house. Fingers are crossed for tomorrow!!
#8 Alan turns THIRTY on Saturday!! Wowza, he’s gonna be an old man! Of course, I’m turning 31 this year…so what does that make me? ;)
That’s it for now…next week will consist of lots of cleaning and scrubbing, perhaps some painting, and lots and lots of moving and unpacking. Good times, can’t wait!

So excited for you guys...lots of wonderful things going on in your lives right now!
YYYEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH! See?! "Act as if" worked! And probably because you whistled while you worked ;) So happy for you. Well except for that sciatic thing. Is there any treatment available? Does the chiro help? Hurts me just thinking about it, darn. I wish I could help you (I LOVE CLEANING AND ORGANIZING AND PAINTING - I know, I'm weird)....maybe I can leave the kids here with Mike for a few hours to help. It would be like a vacation for me, LOL. I owe you big time, so keep me updated and I'll work it out =)
Wow!!!!!
Congrats on on all the cool things!
Can't wait to see pictures of the new house.
