I love going on walks with the my boys (when they cooperate and have fun!). Last night we headed over to our local lake and had a great time. I’m so looking forward to the time change…it’s not for another month of course, but Alan will get home with more light in the evenings. He works 7-4 so he gets home by 5:00 and I love it! It does mean he has a rather early morning however…ugh. Anyway, we’re already planning fun excursions for our evenings…I see the beach in our future:)
It’s pretty crazy to see this much water where we were walking…it’s usually just mud and dead trees. And for those of you who know where this is, the freeway is just centimeters above this shot:)
On Labor Day it looked like this…(this is looking the other direction from the bridge we were on)
This little man is definitely our marathon runner. He didn’t want to stop at all!
