That's what I heard from Alan right before he stepped on the breaks in the drizzly rain of our cul-de-sac then jumped out of the car to search for his new little friend. I didn't think he was really serious about catching it, but oh boy was I wrong! Not only did he catch the little guy, but he left the boys and me parked on the dark street while he ran back into the house to get a jar so the boys could meet their new friend after we finished our trip to the store. When he got back he handed me a mason jar with saran wrap for a lid and one jumpy, scared little tree frog. I was so not excited about holding it! I may have 5 brothers, but that in no way makes me a tom boy. I'm quite girly and do not like touching slimy, jumpy little critters thank you very much. The frog jumped against the side of the jar at one point and I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest!
After getting back from the store, the boys showed grandpa their new friend.
The frog catcher:)
Alan had a great time showing his little boys the frog and although I am a wimp and never touched it, both David and Ethan held the frog before we let it go back into the cold, wet night to find his family and friends:)
Watching the froggy go back home...

What a cool dad! And good job being brave with the frog so your boys could have some excitement! My kids would have LOVED it. The love to search for frogs.
I love that last picture of them! What an exciting thing for a couple of two-year-olds.
The last picture is priceless!
Also, your husband has amazingly keen eyes to see such a small frog.
I loved their expressions watching the frog. My little guy catches them all the time in the summer under our tramp. He loves them.

oh goodness, you crack me up. I would've done the same thing as alan! although I don't always touch the bugs/critters, but I love to look and show the boys. Love the stickers on their faces =)
