Interestingly enough, my fearless little Ethan doesn't like some of the rides as well as David. We took them on Buzz Lightyear which David thought was pretty fun but Ethan didn't like one bit. (David may not be smiling, but he liked it!)
The rocket ride--David liked, Ethan not so much.
After a few rides at Disneyland, Ethan got tuckered out and needed a little nap. David didn't take one until hours later...so in the meantime, I rode California Screamin' and Alan rode the Mali-Boomer at California Adventure! I used to be able to ride roller coasters all day long, but ever since I had the boys, my equilibrium gets messed up pretty easily. There was absolutely no line for the boomer ride, but there was no way I was getting on! So sad...Alan had fun though!
One place the boys absolutely both love--LOVE is over at California Adventure, the Brother Bear playground area. They are in heaven when we go there! It's the greatest treehouse-type playground you could ever find. 
What made it even better was that a "Park Ranger" found the boys and asked if they wanted to have a ducky race. They thought it was pretty cool tossing the duckies intot the water and watching them ride down the stream...
Getting their birthday buttons...
Trying to get a picture of them both looking at me and BOTH smiling was impossible. So, I settled on looking at me!
On our way out of the park, we walked by an old style blue grass band who noticed the boys were wearing their birthday buttons so they sang happy birthday to our little guys. David and Ethan also got to play in the band playing washboards. 
It was such a fun day and I loved being together as a family. Our passes expire at the end of March and I'm going to be oh-so-sad.

Cute post! Our passes just expired and I'm sad too. Even more sad that I have NEVER seen that Brother Bear playground! I guess we never spent enough time in California Adventure!
so much fun! I still haven't mustered up the courage (or the money!) to take my boys yet. Such a long car ride to endure with Owen, ha ha. Maybe when we're waiting for the baby to come we'll try it - might put me in labor? LOL. So cool you guys used your passes so many times =)
I love Disneyland. It's one of my favorite places to go. I'm so glad you guys had a good time. You should have tried the Maliboomer - it's really not as bad as it looks. :P Sounds like you had a perfect day for your little guys.
What a fun dday! I miss Disneyland; I haven't been for 4 years! Bryan is not a big D-land person so we never get to go.
On another note, how in the heck did you change your blog to 3 columns without losing all your bloglists? I changed and lost ALL OF THEM! I'm so sad!
I can't believe how big the boys are getting. Disneyland is always a birthday hit!!
