Mud Run Fun!

I LOVED every moment of the 10K (6.2 miles!) run on Saturday! It was so fun running it with so many of my family members. Two brothers, one sister, and two sisters-in-law! How fun is that! My brother Mike took 5th overall and 2nd in his age division!! Ridiculously amazing! I was little slower:) but felt great the whole run and was so excited to cross the finish line. I ran through water sprayed by firefighters, sand, streams, more sand, up hills, up more hills, down hills, through more streams, ran through tires on the ground, ran through 2 foot deep muddy water just to climb over 2 different 5 foot walls, waded through a chest high reservoir of dirty water, climbed up a super muddy steep hill with water streaming down, and the finale was a swim through dirty, muddy water that was 2 or so feet deep that you HAD to swim through because of the ropes above your head. AWESOME!!! If you ever even think about doing it or are curious about it, you should totally do it!

Next up is the 10K Old Pros run on the 4th of July!
