We started our day off with a yummy pancake breakfast at our church building and a wonderful Memorial Day program. I am so grateful for the brave men and women that have sacrificed their lives for our freedom and for those that continue to serve and protect.
By the way, did you properly ooh and ahh over my cute little Miss? She’s turning two in a month, yet she thinks she’s five just like her brothers. She is so funny and cute! How I love her :)
After the breakfast we packed up and headed out to the beach…crazy and ambitious of us if I do say so myself! But, we got there at the perfect time--we found a parking spot right away without having to circle around even once--and the weather was absolutely picture perfect. Seriously, the day couldn’t have been better!
The crowds when we first got there…
The crowds towards the end of our stay…
The bottom center picture perfectly describes my little brother…
Digging holes is the best way to keep little people happy and in our sights! My niece, Sienna, is going to be quite the little surfer chick :)
Oh my, I’m telling you, this girl melts my heart!
David and Ethan insisted that their daddy take them out on their uncle’s surfboard. Hopefully it’s the first of many surf lessons!
Hope you all had a fantastic Memorial Day!
