Inaugural Grape Day 5k

My dad’s rotary sponsored the first ever Grape Day 5k and our family participated as part of Team Baker. The break in the weather was a very welcome addition to a fun run. Alan pushed the boys in the BOB and took off way ahead of the rest of us. Such a champ! He pushed the boys up and down hills and did great! My cousin Ben, my sis Christy and I walked/ran together until Ben wanted to add a little speed and took off with Ashley in the stroller. Thanks Ben! Christy has an injury so she wasn’t able to do more than walk for most of it which I didn’t mind one bit since we got to chat for most of the course. I ran for the last 1/4 mile or so (along with some other spurts of running throughout the course) and ran into the finished line…then came Christy…then my dad…then my mom and Aunt Peggy. It really was a lot of fun and I highly recommend it to any locals for next year:)
