My boys are growing up! Who told them that was okay? Certainly not me!
I recently bought helmets for them so their cute little noggins would stay better protected as they learn to ride their bikes. This took longer than expected…I first bought helmets (without the boys) in Toddler size 3…well, my boys have big heads (big smart brains!) and so of course, they didn’t fit. When I tried again (this time with the boys) David tried on a few hats but Ethan wouldn’t try any at all. That caused David to decide he didn’t want to try any more on either. So, our second trip produced no helmets. Third trip: I found one Lightning McQueen helmet that fit with a bike bell that David was thrilled about! Success! One helmet down! Ethan still wouldn’t try anything on, thus just one helmet. Fourth trip: today proved successful for my little E-man! Target restocked with a Spider-Man helmet + bike bell and miraculously (plus a little bribing with chocolate) Ethan tried it on and we bought it! He even wore it today while biking:)
David has loved riding his bike from the moment we bought it! He is getting to be pro and will ride and ride and ride. I love my sweet boys and their enthusiasm for life! (meaning: endless energy:)
