Oh how I love me some photoshop!

I will openly admit that once upon a time, I despised—yes, despised photoshop. I can however admit when I am wrong about something and this is one of those times! A little instruction can take you a long way when navigating the behemoth photoshop! Thank goodness for my photo class last semester as well as fabulous tutorials from MCP Actions! I probably only understand about 2% of the program, but it’s enough for now! Check the two shots out below of my nephews…the first is SOOC (straight out of the camera) and not nearly sharp enough and doesn’t have the right lighting (at all!) among other things. I’m kind of embarrassed to show it, but oh well! One of these days I’m hoping that my SOOC shots look much closer to a finished product…

And a few others…

hmm, do you think little g is upset about his ear being bit by his brother? nah, he just wasn’t feeling the photo shoot today!

totally laughing!! you did a great job. BUT, I think you are not confident enough in your SOOTC shots - they are good! I personally prefer the skin a little lighter and lips not so red - somewhere inbetween your SOOTCS and the edited one. Maybe "next time" we will not let in so much light to my livingroom? Owen's eyes in his single shot are beautiful and you captured their personalities perfectly! Can't wait to see sleepy baby too =). GREAT JOB - especially with what you had to work with - CRAZINESS! And sorry my house was so darn hot - phew! I owe you a million nights of babysitting!

Nice work on the pictures AND love the onesie! I am really impressed that you did it on a small onesie. I think I mentioned to you that I made two initial onesies but I couldn't get it sewed onto anything smaller than 18 months! I am really impressed! You are so talented!
