Crayons are banished for at least a week.

On boy, I knew this day would come…when crayons made it somewhere other than the surface they were supposed to be on. Actually, it happened earlier than this, but this was the first time on the wall. Thankfully it was on their bedroom wall that just so happens to be ridiculously high gloss paint. So although I am not a fan of wall artwork that does not belong, I am a fan of this:

crayon clean up Little helpers, cleaning up their own mess.

And I’m especially a fan of overhearing this:

From David: “Thanks brother, thanks” in reference to Ethan’s help cleaning off the wall.

And the response from Ethan: “Your welcome, brother.”

I love polite little people!

The conversation is priceless! I am proud of you for making them do the cleaning. Great mom!

Yeah good job on making them clean it up. I do that too. It makes things like that not happen very often if they know they have to clean it up!

Sweet boys. You are teaching them well. They are learning to be responsible and hard working (scrub, scrub, scrub) and are polite and kind too!
