Today while wearing my Stanford shirt that Alan picked up for me on a recent business trip, I was asked by a man at the grocery store, "Oh cool, did you get in? We are waiting to hear from Stanford for my daughter."
It is that time year after all, all the high school seniors are either anxiously awaiting to hear from their favorite school or have already heard where they will be going in the fall. I had to smile and wonder, "do I really look like I would be heading off to school for my freshman year in September?" Regardless, I was quite flattered. I mean, I AM turning 30 just 7 days from now! :)
p.s. I did a great job of "unplugging" from the computer last Friday and let it spill over into Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues and even a bit today. I wasn't totally unplugged those other days, but I've been keeping busy with spring cleaning, sanding and finishing a table, making curtains for the bathroom, and just plain 'ol hanging out and having fun with my sweet little boys. It's been great!
