Christmas Advent Calendar
I made this cute little advent calendar this past week with some other girls from my ward and I'm loving it! I thought it was going to be bigger than it actually is (it's about 8 x 8.5 inches) so I was initially a little disappointed, but it's absolutely perfect! I used a square punch and a round punch for the box fronts and mod podged all the paper on. I am thinking I still want to put paper on the opposite sides of the boxes (they pull all they way out and can be turned around) that would create a full scene or picture as the month goes along so by the 25th it is one complete picture. And when I'm totally finished there will be a really cute lime green/white polka dot ribbon on top...but I have to learn how to do it first:) I'm also going to place a scripture in each pull out box along with some little treat for me/hubby/kiddos.

Very very cute!
So fun that you're starting a tradition like that while your boys are so little--they'll be able to say, "Ever since I can remember..."
:)
what a cute idea! I love craftiness! and you did a great job.
Really cute Katie! If you have the pattern, will give it me next time I see you?
The box/calendar was bought on www.scrapbook.com. When you go to search for it, type in: "calendar karen foster" and it will pop up....I think unfortunately it is currently sold out, so you may have to search for it elsewhere. I have an email newsletter with lots of fun decorating ideas for it, so let me know if you want me to email it to you!
That is super cute! I kinda wish I had been able to make one. BTW, I tagged you!
