Blessing #23 - Uncle Scott and Aunt Sarah!

Alan and I took the boys to Disneyland a couple weeks ago and as much fun as it is to be together as just our small family, it's not nearly as much fun if we don't have some other family members with us! Scott and Sarah (al's bro & our sis-in-law) made the drive up JUST so they could help us out and watch the boys for us so we could go on a ride or two all by ourselves!! How nice is that?!?!?! Love them! They came for about 2 hours and spent all their time helping us. Did I mention that I love them?!

Mr. Toads Wild Ride...another ride the boys aren't terribly found of, although it was SOOO much better than Pirates.

Dumbo, they loved this one! David kept pointing at the mouse on top and telling me some story about him. Not sure what he was saying exactly, but it was a good one!

The carousel...just a so-so ride for the boys...I tried to get more than 2 inches away from David and he was not okay with it.

We got to go on Matterhorn, our first "big kid" ride together at Disneyland since we were 18! I don't think Alan will be riding it again, the shocks aren't so great on this one!

Self portraits before and on the ride...

And the fabulous Aunt Sarah and Uncle Scott!!!! We went on Indiana Jones while Sarah and Scott pushed the boys in the stroller:)

Thanks for coming to help us out, we love you!!!

It is SO nice when famiy can go places with you to help. I do think we should meet up at Dland one day. I foresee utter chaos, lots of staring people BUT lots of fun =)

Umm, Scott's married? How did I miss that?

Also, Alan's smile seems a little forced--maybe he doesn't like Disneyland as much as you think. :)

Looks like you guys had fun. I'm glad you and Alan got to go on rides alone.
