Every night before bed, Alan and I read from Stand A Little Taller, counsel and inspiration for each day of the year from President Gordon B. Hinckley. The scripture and thought from August 25th is definitely a favorite of mine...
"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth" -3 John 1:4.
President Hinckley: "Of all the joys of like, none other equals that of happy parenthood. Of all the responsibilities with which we struggle, none other is so serious. To rear children in an atmosphere of love, security, and faith is the most rewarding of all challenges. The good result for such efforts becomes life's most satisfying compensation."
David and Ethan are such sweet, happy, joyful little people and I am grateful to be their mom. I hope I will be a great example to them and teach them well so that I can experience the joy of seeing my children walk in truth.
