I was blessed with a great group of girl friends growing up, some I have known forever (since kindergarten) and others since junior high or high school. I love that we have (mostly) all kept in touch. It's been 11 years since graduation but when we get together it's like no time has passed at all. Sarah was in town this past week and organized a BBQ for us girls and our families at her parents in their newly finished backyard. I am loving their backyard--they have the greatest playhouse that the kids that I would love to have one day, but what I most especially loved is that it is all fenced in! They boys were able to roam free and Alan and I were able to actually relax and enjoy ourselves! That's a rarity these days:) Thanks girls for the fun evening! (Sadly, I don't think one of these girls looks at blogs--what's up with that?!)

It really is a GREAT backyard for kids... and parents! Evokes a little envy in me =). I thought Michelle looked a little different - no wonder, she was getting ready to give birth! Yeah! Just email the girls your link - then they'll be blog readers =)
