We bought these sweet swim outfits for the boys last week after getting a recommendation from Alan's cousin, Kimberly, and we LOVE them! (Not to mention they are pretty sweet looking! Reminds me of swimsuits from the 1920's). Swimming has always been a favorite of mine, ever since I was a little kid. I was fish--never wanted to get out of the pool or the ocean. Now a days though, it's a bit harder. 18 month old twins around water = no time to relax or let your guard down! But now, we enjoy being in the water with the boys and they absolutely love it too. Ethan "swam" almost all by himself across the entire pool. Of course Alan was just mere inches, if not centimeters, away from him, but he kicked his little legs as fast as he could and used his arms to help pull him across. (His speed in the water is just like his speed on land...FAST!!) David is a bit more cautious in nearly everything he does, but he had a fabulously fun time as well. We even let them "jump" off the diving board to daddy's waiting arms. (I lowered them into the water). I'm telling you, this was seriously the best $20 we have ever spent!

(some of these pictures are grainy cuz I had to zoom way in and crop them...David and Ethan know when I'm trying to take a picture of them being cute and turn their heads away from me! silly boys.)

I am NOT a floaty mom. I don't want my kids getting dependent on floaties, but......when Abby was 18 months I got her a suit like this and by the end of the summer she was so sure of herself in the pool that she taught herself how to swim - big arms and kicks and all! By the time we took her out of it at the end of the summer she was a swimming fool. It sounds like your boys will by just like Abby (and You) and will be swimming very soon! Great find btw
Those are awesome!!! What a good idea!!
OK, share the secret! where did you get those? I need one for Owen! Totally retro, with a donut twist. love it!
Wow, I like those a lot! That's so fun that they loved swimming in them too! They're really cute. I can just imagine how hard it must be with TWO babies in the water!
Okay I have seen those but I wasn't sure how well they worked...I NEED those, I take the kids swimming by myself at least once or twice a week. Where did you get them?
I got them at Sears Essentials in Carmel Mountain...The brand is Learn to Swim 123. You may be able to find them at Wal Mart too. And, they were only $10 each!!!! Such a deal:)
Those are the coolest things ever! I work at an Athletic Club and I'm out by the pool every day, but I have never seen these! What a great find! :)
Seriously I love them! And they really do look like the old school swimming suits! What a great idea, and easier when you have two crazy swimming boys!
Yeah!!! I'm so glad you got them and the boys like them. :)
We've used them for all our kids and they all LOVE to swim and love the water. It is so fun to see them jump in, pop up, and figure out how to paddle across the pool. We've tried ALL kinds of floaties and these are the best.
I dig the retro donut twist too. Not to mention the bright-easy-to-spot-from-a-mile-away yellow. :)
Awesome! I wish we had had those! have fun splish splashing!
Looks so fun! Such cute boys - glad you had a fun trip to Disney:)
My kids wer the same way with the camera at that age --- I always wished I could afford a nicer lens so the wouldn't even see me taking their pictures... Isn't wishful thinking great --- anyway - love the suits! so cute - your boys are getting so big!
