The Happiest Place on Earth!

Yay for Spring Break! Alan gets a whole week off from class (later than everyone else for some reason) so we (meaning: me) decided to get ourselves annual passes to Disneyland. We were both a bit nervous about taking two 14 month old little boys, but ended up having a great time. It was a fabulous, wonderful, exciting, joyful and exhausting time. Ethan is the more experienced walker and he wanted to walk, walk, walk and David followed along doing some walking as well as crawling when he needed to go faster. We spent quite a bit of time in Toon Town becuase it is toddler friendly, plus we got to meet Mickey Mouse, though David wasn't all that excited about it and let us know it! We also went to California Adventure and rode a caterpillar ride and the ferris wheel with the boys. They weren't sure about the first ride, but loved the ferris wheel. My parents met us in the afternoon and watched the little boys for a bit so Alan and I were able to go on two rides at California Adventure. I LOVE roller coasters!! We went back over to Disneyland and drove the cars at Autotopia, walked around some more then said goodbye to my parents. David and Ethan were so tuckered out that they fell asleep before we reached the entrance so we decided to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy our surroundings (with about a million other people). During our stroll we ran into a mother of triplets!! Two boys and a girl, almost 2 years old! I asked her how it was and she kind of scrunched up her nose and said, "It's haaaard". Gosh, twins are hard, but it sends my heart into palpitations to even think about having triplets. SCARY!!! All in all it was a fabulous day and we can't wait to go again!

{Warning: LOTS of pictures...}

The ride there...sleepy boys and beautiful scenery!

My busy little walker man!

Super tired little bubbas

While the boys were napping I decided to have my own little hat fashion show:)

How fun! Katie these pictures are so cute. What a darling family! The second picture made me laugh so hard because you are in Disney Land--best place ever :)--and the boys don't look impressed at all. Hope you guys have a wonderful break with Al around! Miss you guys!

Love the hats! The boys expressions are precious. I like the pumpkin shots.

That's great you got passes. We definitely need to meet up there sometime. It would be great to see all of the kids terrorizing the place! :)

we've been talking about going a lot lately, but still haven't made it. I think it might be our present to Jackson for his 3rd birthday. Looks so fun! you're lucky the boys will nap in the sroller - not sure Owen could tune out the craziness which would complicate matters a little. my friend gets a hotel for nap time! ha ha.
still jealous of your camera...

Ok I am super impressed that everyone looks like they had such a great time! I mean we know it is the happiest place on earth but when we have gone the little people in my family are crying and by the end of it the adults are too.

It was great fun! I grew up in the shadow of Disneyland and loved those "E" ticket rides....and have always loved even just walking around this land of magic. Being with children is fun, because you get to enjoy it through their eyes.
