Roar!

Alan, the boys and me joined our friends, Anne and Rob, in going to the Wild Animal Park on Saturday and boy was it crowded! It was definitely the most crowded I've ever seen it--we had to park in the dirt! We found out the reason it was so popular was because just the day before 7 lion cubs were introduced to their father for the first time since their birth. It was awesome! Usually when we go past the lion exhibit you don't see anything other than the grass or 1 super lazy lion. But this time we saw the father, the 2 mothers (sister lions) and 7 cubs. I snapped a ton of pictures and here are just a few of the highlights...

We also got to see the giraffes close up which was quite fun.

We decided to let the boys out of the stoller for a few minutes to stretch their legs on the new bridge/elevator landing.

While on the bridge, Alan had the camera and decided to take a few pictures of me. After the camera being in my face for longer than I wanted, I decided to get silly. Here are the results... :)

You finally got to see the giraffes up close! I'm so excited for you:) I'm thinking I might have to do a run at the WAP tomorrow so I can see the little lion cubs myself!

The lion cubs were adorable! Wow, what a treat to be able to see the lions acting like that. They're always lazy whenever we see them at the zoo too.
