Rite of Passage

It’s time for Alan and I to accept the fact that our little men are growing up. We don’t like it, not one bit. Except that we do love seeing them grow and learn and accomplish new things. It’s a real catch-22…
Anyway, we’ve been meaning to take their training wheels off for forever now and finally got around to it tonight (Alan of course did the work, not me;). They were obviously ready as they needed very little help in getting going. Ethan needed none in fact! I wasn’t even camera ready, let alone outside to see him take off for the first time!

David did superbly awesome as well with just a little help from Daddy…

We love our sweet little boys!!

I have to add one picture of our little AJ (aka Ashley/Ashley Jane/Janey Girl). She’s not walking yet, but she’s doing lots of standing and making her toes do lots of the work…our neighbor called it the “Death Grip”
