Biking Brothers

Could two little boys look any happier than my little men? They got new bikes and this was their first bike ride…

happy boys

And for the record—a lot of people (usually strangers) tell me how identical my boys look….um, really? ‘Cuz I’m looking at these little guys thinking they couldn’t look more different! Sure, they’re wearing matching shirts, but as far as the identical–ness goes, I don’t think so! A friend of mine with fraternal twin boys likes to say that her twins are just brothers who happen to be born on the same day. It’s funny, I rarely even refer to them as “The Twins”.

David let us know what he thought of his new bike…thumbs up

I love this super, duper happy smiley face…happy david

Whheeeeeeeee!ethan

I tried and tried to get Ethan to smile for me…how do you think I did? :-D ethan

I love watching David and Ethan learn new things and I’m excited to watch them grow into boyhood. I’m not so sure I really want them to grow up though…. David stepped into a pair of my running shoes the other day and it made me a little sad to think that he will be wearing shoes even bigger than mine one day! Stop growing little men! I forbid it!

They're so cute! Don't you just love those new experiences - bikes, Christmas, Easter, Disneyland etc.? It is hard watching your kids grow up, but it is really exciting at the same time. Why don't you have more so you can get some baby time? lol I'm just teasin' ya...sorta. :P

Is that a hint of red in that blonde hair of Ethan? Stubborn? :) Just and observation.
Your boys are precious. Although, I have never met them I have watched them really grow up just in the last few months over your blog! :)
So cute!

Um, so I'm looking at your boys and think that you must be crazy observant mom to be able to tell them apart. Actually, I know what you mean though, my sister has twins and they look very different to me too.

Too super cute!!!! And I am really impressed!

About the identical-ness thing: Occasionally when I tell people Andy and Ashlyn are twins, people say "but they look nothing alike." I even had a woman argue with me because she didn't believe they were twins. People are so funny!
