My project for today...

My parents have a great closet under their stairs that has been home to many a toy since as long as I can remember. Also, for as long as I can remember the "flooring" has been a small square of linoleum from 25 years ago as well as two small carpet squares, also from 25 years ago (when the house was built). So, today, I have decided I am going to lay down new laminate as well as try to organize this thing! I would love to paint the walls, but let's be honest, it's not going to happen with my kiddos around. For now, new floor and organization will have to do! I'll take some after pictures once it's all put back together.

(There's lots more toys scattered around the house than just what you see in these pictures!)
The artwork on the back wall will be staying there for now...I was trying to decide if I could find some fun/loud/cute fabric that could be stretched over the wall and actually remain on the wall...
The laminate that will soom be covering the floor...

UPDATE:) Here is the finished product! I covered the back wall with yellow, thick wrapping paper to cover up the beautiful magic marker mural...

p.s. Evidently using the flash on my camera is the absolute mark that I am a rookie photographer, but when I'm taking pictures to document every day things--especially in dark areas--I'll be using the flash! Thank you very much.

good job! ps. pros use flash! it's not like you're going to set up some fancy lights just to take a snap shot of the closet - i mean really! don't let that class put that kind of pressure on you. And I have observed pros using flash even outside when it's sunny to take away noon time facial shadow. Just a tip. I'm no pro, but I did take some classes in college =) Now if 2,000 dollars happens to fall off a tree I might be takin' some great pics =) he he.

really, you're parents are lucky to have you there organizing their stuff - even your stuff in their house =)

Good job! I'm sure it wasn't easy to organize all that with two busy little boys running around. Very impressive.

Looks good! Isn't it fun to have productive projects to do? So nice!

You're more than welcome to do the tag. I figured if I put "Katie" that at least one of you would do it :) That would be fun to hear your lists!
