I finally saw Wicked and WOW did it ever live up to the hype surrounding it! The songs have been stuck in my head for the past 5 days and I'm ready to see it again! I went with Alan, my parents, and my sis and her husband. We had hoped to make it to LA in time to grab a bite to eat up there, but the traffic was horrendous (could never live in LA!!) so we stopped about midway at an In-n-Out. It was tasty:) If you get the chance see Wicked--GO! You won't regret it!
*p.s. The musical Wicked is NOT like the book--in the "what the heck did I just read?!? I am NOT finishing this book" sense. I stopped reading about a quareter of the way into the book. The musical however is clean and fun and AWESOME!

Is it anything like the book? If it's like the book, I'm not too sure I would enjoy it. I am torn on this one!
I can't wait to go see it and seeing your pics makes me more anxious!!!
No Sarah--the book was trashy (I didn't finish it) but the musical is sweet, clean and fun!
I am so glad you said that about the book! I never saw Wicked but I started reading the book after a friend told me how wonderful the musical was. I tried TWICE to read the book and finally just said, "Dontation!" I didn't like the 80 pages I read either time:)
What a fun night! I want to see that!!!

I am clearly WAY behind on your blog. SOOOO many great posts. I am so glad you loved Wicked. Ashkii and I saw it in Chicago a few years ago- we saw an ad for it (hadn't heard of it yet) and got tickets for that night(must not have been "POPULAR" yet). We LOVE it!!!
