I'm headed to Arizona in approximately 2 hours to go to my cousin's wedding/open house and I'm going WITHOUT my kids or husband!! CRAZY! I'm not sure how I feel about it! I'm so grateful I get to go and love my husband to pieces for sending me on my way, but I'm a little (okay a LOT) sad that I won't get to kiss my kids good night tonight or tomorrow...oh goodness. But, I am SO looking forward to seeing my cousins and family I don't get to see often. And just think, I get to be carefree and not have to glance around the room every 5 minutes to make sure my boys aren't getting into anything. I can hardly imagine it. :)

wow, you're lucky you only have to glance around every 5 minutes - I have to every 20 seconds, or maybe more =). Crazy boys. You are brave for going and you deserve it - stay at home moms put in their fair share of time with the kids. A few days apart will do you all good. I remember the feeling though - it's scary.

Oh wow, so happy for you, yet so jealous! Enjoy your 'time off'! This is as close to a paid vacation as mommies get! :)
