Running on the beach

I wish we lived closer to the beach! I know I have no right to complain seeing as I only just 30 minutes away at most. But really, let's be realistic here for a moment. With 17 month old twins, any trip to the beach is a major production. Especially when those said twins are fearless and head straight for the water the second their little feet hit the ground. However, when your husband spontaneously says at 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday, "Let's go running on the beach this morning!" you say "YAY!! Let's do it!" and pretty much jump in the car and just go! It made it world's easier knowing we weren't going to be doing any swimming. Just a light run next to the waves then some playtime on the playground before the boys got too sleepy...And then of course Baby Einstein in the car to keep the boys eyes open until we got home for nap time. It worked out perfectly!

There was a ridiculous number of surfers in the water which was kind of funny to me seeing as the waves were fairly non existent...

David and Ethan enjoying their view of the water

Stylin' outfits!!

One happy mama with her super cute boys!

Could they be any cuter?!

Lincoln totally has those same shark jammies! That looked like a lot of fun, but thankfully I'm not woken up very often at 6am by my boys. Heavenly Father sure knew what He was doing when He sent me two sleepin' in types! :)
